Melina Castro – has been active in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem since 2017, entrepreneuring at Gran Moar, a food biotechnology startup, participating in and receiving recognition from programs such as Startup U, where she won 1st place, and as finalists in Lemonade and BioStartup Lab. Her career is marked by working in Innovation at companies such as Fundep, CoolHow, and Biominas Brasil, with experience in intrapreneurship, innovation culture, open innovation, corporate innovation, and business development, accelerating more than 200 startups. She is a mentor, organizer, and volunteer at ideation and entrepreneurship events in the innovation ecosystem. For almost 6 years, she has specialized in technology-based businesses originating from Science and Technology Institutes and in the Triple Helix arrangement. Melina holds a degree in Socio-environmental Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
