D.Sc. Romildo Dias Toledo Filho is a Full Professor in the Civil Engineering Program at COPPE/UFRJ and a member of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Engineering. Currently serving as Executive Director of UFRJ’s Technology Park and Coordinator of the Center for Sustainable Materials and Technology (NUMATS) at Poli/Coppe/UFRJ, he has a distinguished career as a CNPq 1A Researcher and FAPERJ Senior Researcher. With extensive academic production, he has published over 288 journal articles, organized 5 books, and presented more than 400 papers at conferences, in addition to supervising numerous award-winning doctoral and master’s theses. Romildo is recognized for his contributions to civil engineering and sustainable materials, actively participating in professional associations and international technical committees.
