Rafael Valle is the Technological Innovation Manager at the National Education and Research Network (RNP). He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and a master’s degree in Telecommunications with emphasis on Computer Networks from the same institution. He has been with RNP since 2011, coordinating R&D projects in the areas of Advanced Internet, Wireless Networks, Software-Defined Networks, IPTV, Video Applications, Accessibility, Network Management, and Digital Health. He worked for several years in the Advanced Services R&D&I Program, in which he participated in modeling and creation. Currently, he is responsible for projects and processes related to innovation at RNP, which involve intrapreneurship, technology transfer, and open innovation actions, supporting the transfer of R&D results to the market and society through partnerships and startup creation.
