Jamur Johnas Marchi

Position: Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Public Policy and Development at UNILA.

Will participate: Thematic Panel 04: Transnational collaboration: the case of the Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay border

He holds a degree in Administration from the Federal University of Santa Maria – UFSM (2003), a master’s degree in Administration from the Federal University of Santa Maria – UFSM (2006), and a doctorate in Administration from the Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC (2014). He was a professor in the Administration and Technology in Public Management courses at the Federal University of Pampa – UNIPAMPA, from 2006 to 2015, where he worked on projects such as the Development of the Dairy APL in Santana do Livramento and Strategic Planning of the Regional Development Council of the Western Border of RS. Since 2016, he has been a Professor at the Federal University for Latin American Integration – UNILA, in the undergraduate course in Public Administration and Public Policy and in the Graduate Program in Public Policy and Development – PPGPPD. He was also Pro-Rector of Planning, Budget, and Finance, from 2017 to 2023. Since 2024, he has been the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Public Policy and Development at UNILA. He is interested in topics such as: Planning, Budgeting and Strategic Management, Governance, Cross-border Governance, Networks and other Inter-organizational Arrangements, as well as Systems and processes of production and services in the public sector.
