Architect and Urban Planner from UEL, PhD in Architecture, Energy and Environment from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona of the UPC-Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain) and in Civil Construction Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the USP-University of São Paulo (double degree obtained in 2014). Master in “Architecture, Energy and Environment” from UPC (2008). She is currently a professor and Deputy Pro-Rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies at the Federal University for Latin American Integration – UNILA, in charge of the Technological and Social Innovation Center (NIT-UNILA), leader of the Sustainability and Innovation research group (SINOVA), researcher at the Laboratory of Performance, Structure and Materials (LADEMA) and the Center for Innovation in Sustainable Construction (CICS-USP), coordinator of the Technical Conception Group of the CT Sustainability of Concrete of the Brazilian Concrete Institute (IBRACON), member of the Municipal Council of Science, Technology and Innovation of Foz do Iguaçu-PR, of the Brazilian Institute of Wood and Wood Structures (IBRACON), of the National Association of Built Environment Technology (ANTAC), and permanent member of the Permanent Commission of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Association of Universities Grupo Montevideo (AUGM). She was technical coordinator of the Brazilian Council for Sustainable Construction (CBCS), Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGECI) of the Federal University for Latin American Integration (UNILA). Her research focuses on: life cycle assessment; CO2 emissions and capture; dematerialization; decarbonization; sustainability; housing; wood in construction; performance; eco-efficiency of materials.
