Andre Fernando de Almeida is the founder of Dom Rock, a data and artificial intelligence technology company established in 2013 and based at the São José dos Campos Technology Innovation Park (PIT SJC), São Paulo. Under his leadership, Dom Rock has been ranked three times among the top ten big data companies in Brazil. Recognized as one of the country’s ten leading senior entrepreneurs, Andre has led more than 85 innovation projects grounded in engineering and data science. He is a PhD candidate in Technological Innovation at UNIFESP, where he is also part of the Artificial Cognitive Systems research group. He holds an MBA from Macquarie University (Australia) and bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Mackenzie University. He is a mentor at Mackenzie and served as patron of FATEC-SJC in 2023. He is currently a member of innovation programs within the PIT SJC ecosystem. Before founding Dom Rock, he began his career in software engineering and moved into executive roles, eventually reaching senior leadership positions at technology and telecommunications companies in Brazil and abroad.
