Holds a Bachelor’s degree (1999), Master’s degree (2003), Doctorate (2016), and post-doctorate (2023) in Sociology from the University of Brasília (UnB). He is a Senior Analyst in Science and Technology at the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation – MCTI. Currently, he serves as the General Coordinator of Innovative Environments and Startups and Deputy Director of the Department of Support for Innovation Ecosystems at the Secretariat of Technological Development and Innovation – Setec. He has extensive professional experience in the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of public policies in education, science, technology, and innovation. He served as the Coordinator of Innovative Environments and Entrepreneurship at MCTI from 2018 to 2022, coordinating programs such as Centelha and RHAE, among other initiatives. He conducts research in the field of Sociology, focusing on Education, Science, and Technology, with emphasis on the following themes: Public Policies; Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (S,T&I).
