Romildo Dias Toledo Filho is a Full Professor in the Civil Engineering Program at COPPE\/UFRJ and a member of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Engineering. Currently serving as Executive Director of UFRJ&#8217;s Technology Park and Coordinator of the Center for Sustainable Materials and Technology (NUMATS) at Poli\/Coppe\/UFRJ, he has a distinguished career as a CNPq 1A Researcher and FAPERJ Senior Researcher. With extensive academic production, he has published over 288 journal articles, organized 5 books, and presented more than 400 papers at conferences, in addition to supervising numerous award-winning doctoral and master&#8217;s theses.
