Master&#8217;s in Education from the State University of the Mid-West (Unicentro), in the program in agreement with the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). Graduated in Philosophy from the Federal University of Paran\u00e1 (UFPR). Author of books and scientific articles, he was Rector of Unicentro, a university where he is an Adjunct Professor. From 2012 to 2014, he chaired the Paran\u00e1 Association of Public Higher Education Institutions (APIESP), an institution that brings together the seven State Universities of Paran\u00e1. From 2016 to 2018, he was president of the Brazilian Association of Rectors of State and Municipal Universities (ABRUEM). ABRUEM is one of the most important Higher Education organizations in Brazil and Latin America, which seeks to permanently deepen discussions on priority topics for the Higher Education agenda. From 2019 to 2022, he served as Superintendent-General of Science, Technology and Higher Education of the State of Paran\u00e1.
