He is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Technology of Paraná-UTFPR. He holds a PhD in Knowledge Engineering and Management – EGC / UFSC, with a Business Post-Doctorate – TEKIS Advanced Technologies, and is currently pursuing a Post-Doctorate at EGC / UFFS. He has a Master’s degree in Technology and Development – PPGTE / UTFPR and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Chemistry – UTFPR. In Academic Management, he has served as Pro-Rector of Extension and Innovation at UTFPR, Pro-Rector of Extension, Research and Innovation at IFPR, and Deputy Pro-Rector of Business and Community Relations at UTFPR. In NGOs, he has been a Director of Anprotec and President of the Paraná Network of Incubators and Technology Parks-Reparte. He is a Permanent Professor at PPGTE/UTFPR, focusing on Local and Regional Innovation Systems and Ecosystems. He represents UTFPR in the Innovation Working Groups of the Araucária Foundation and Technology Parks Policies at SEPARTEC. He has published about 11 books focused on innovation-driven territorial development. He is involved in research projects, advisory services, consultancies, and lectures in the areas of Innovation Habitats, Local and Regional Innovation Systems and Ecosystems, and Sustainable Endogenous Innovative Entrepreneurship.
