Anteriormente, ele atuava como Secret\u00e1rio de Desenvolvimento\u00a0Tecnol\u00f3gico e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o do Minist\u00e9rio da Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e\u00a0Inova\u00e7\u00e3o (MCTI), onde teve uma carreira destacada no setor de\u00a0inova\u00e7\u00e3o e tecnologia no Brasil. Ele possui uma extensa trajet\u00f3ria\u00a0no setor de inova\u00e7\u00e3o e tecnologia, com mais de 20 anos de\u00a0experi\u00eancia em gest\u00e3o de projetos, capta\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos e\u00a0planejamento de ambientes promotores de inova\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Antes de assumir a secretaria no MCTI, Guila foi Superintendente\u00a0Executivo da Anprotec, onde liderou a associa\u00e7\u00e3o durante a\u00a0pandemia, mantendo seu crescimento e impacto no ecossistema de\u00a0inova\u00e7\u00e3o brasileiro e quando institui\u00e7\u00e3o foi condecorada com a\u00a0Medalha Nacional do M\u00e9rito Cient\u00edfico. Ele tamb\u00e9m foi Diretor de\u00a0Inova\u00e7\u00e3o do Porto Digital, per\u00edodo no qual o parque tecnol\u00f3gico foi\u00a0reconhecido como principal ambiente de inova\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds por tr\u00eas\u00a0vezes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Guila tem forma\u00e7\u00e3o acad\u00eamica s\u00f3lida, com mestrado em Engenharia de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Administra\u00e7\u00e3o pela Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE) e certifica\u00e7\u00e3o Project Management Professional (PMP) pelo Project Management Institute. Ele foi professor de p\u00f3s gradua\u00e7\u00e3o na Universidade Cat\u00f3lica de Pernambuco (UNICAP) e tem lecionado em v\u00e1rias institui\u00e7\u00f5es ao longo dos anos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durante sua carreira, Guila ocupou diversos cargos de destaque, incluindo Gerente de Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Institucionais do CESAR, secret\u00e1rio de Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico, Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o do Recife, e vice presidente de Ambientes de Inova\u00e7\u00e3o do F\u00f3rum Inova Cidades. Ele tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 membro de v\u00e1rios conselhos importantes, como o da FINEP e do CGEE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seu trabalho tem sido fundamental na promo\u00e7\u00e3o de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que incentivam a inova\u00e7\u00e3o, como o Marco Legal da Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia e o Marco Legal das Startups, al\u00e9m de defender parcerias entre governo, universidades e empresas para fomentar a inova\u00e7\u00e3o no servi\u00e7o p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guilherme Coutinho Calheiros, better known as Guila Calheiros, is\u00a0the current Director of Planning and Management at Embrapii.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, he served as the Secretary of Technological\u00a0\u00a0Development and Innovation at the Ministry of Science,\u00a0Technology, and Innovation (MCTI), where he had a distinguished\u00a0career in the innovation and technology sector in Brazil. He has an\u00a0extensive background in innovation and technology, with over 20\u00a0years of experience in project management, fundraising, and\u00a0planning of innovation-promoting environments.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before taking on the role at MCTI, Guila was the Executive\u00a0Superintendent of Anprotec, where he led the association during\u00a0the pandemic, maintaining its growth and impact on the Brazilian\u00a0innovation ecosystem and when the institution was awarded the\u00a0National Medal of Scientific Merit. He was also the Director of\u00a0Innovation at Porto Digital, during which time the technology park was recognized as the leading innovation environment in the\u00a0country three times.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Guila has a strong academic background, with a master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), a degree in Business Administration from the University of Pernambuco (UPE), and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. He has been a postgraduate professor at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP) and has taught at various institutions over the years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout his career, Guila has held several prominent positions, including Institutional Relations Manager at CESAR, Secretary of Economic Development, Science, Technology, and Innovation of Recife, and Vice President of Innovation Environments at the Inova Cidades Forum. He is also a member of several important boards, such as FINEP and CGEE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
