Martin is the Business Development Manager at Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, a member of the IASP (International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation) Advisory Council, a Executive Board member of the Estonian Business Angels Association, an investor, mentor, and initiator of several local and international business projects and programs, including Prototron – Worlds first prototyping fund, Accelerate Estonia – Estonia’s governmental acceleration program, Latitude59 – global startup and tech conference, Solaride – Estonia’s first competing solar car project, and others.
At Tehnopol, Martin leads the business services unit and works daily with Estonian startups, growth companies, and large enterprises, including companies in the health-, green-, and deep technology sector. Martin has been contributing to the development of Tehnopol as one of the most prominent science parks since 2007, when he joined the organization as the Head of Marketing and Partnerships. Later, he led Tehnopol’s Startup Incubator acceleration program for early-stage companies, involving over 300 startups that collectively raised more than €50 million in early-stage investments.
